Mikan Picking 2015

Mikan picking has become an annual tradition for us, and it's so much fun! I'm sad we won't be able to do it in the States, but hopefully we can find something equally as exciting to replace it.  Jesse was able to join us this year, which was good news for me because Fletcher really enjoyed running around and helping to pick the mikans. We paid 1500 yen per person and each received a giant bag to fill. It was also all-you-can-eat while we were picking. Mikans are so yummy and they're the perfect kid snack; they're kind of like Cuties.  Fletcher tries to peel them himself. Hopefully next year he'll have it mastered because he eats them faster than I can get them peeled.  This year was also a lot warmer than last (if you remember, Fletcher was bundled from head to toe!).  It was another exciting family outing in Iwakuni!

Random observation from downloading pictures today: Jesse is aging very nicely, I look exhausted, and Fletcher always looks sticky. I guess I better step up my mom/photo-taking skills!
